Would You Rather for Couples

Not the party version, and not the kids' version — these are written for two people who already know each other, and want an excuse to find out something new. Pick one, defend it, argue about it if you have to.

The rule is simple: you have to pick one. No "both," no "neither." Take turns reading a question out loud, both answer, then ask why — that's usually where the actual conversation starts.

Everyday

  1. Would you rather always know what I'm thinking, or always know what I'm feeling?
  2. Would you rather we never argue again, or never stop talking about the hard stuff?
  3. Would you rather I plan every date from now on, or you do?
  4. Would you rather have one really good night together a week, or five decent ones?
  5. Would you rather I always tell you the truth immediately, or gently, later?
  6. Would you rather we travel constantly, or stay home for good?

Deep

  1. Would you rather know how our relationship ends, or never know and just live it?
  2. Would you rather I change something about myself you've never mentioned, or you never mention it at all?
  3. Would you rather we agree on everything important and disagree on everything small, or the reverse?
  4. Would you rather I remember every anniversary perfectly, or remember what you actually needed that day?
  5. Would you rather have a harder year that made us closer, or an easier year that kept us the same?
  6. Would you rather I tell you exactly what I need from you, or we figure it out together, slowly?

Spicy

  1. Would you rather I tell you exactly what I'm thinking about you right now, or show you later?
  2. Would you rather a slow night in or a spontaneous night out, just the two of us?
  3. Would you rather I surprise you, or you surprise me tonight?
  4. Would you rather the lights off or on?
  5. Would you rather I whisper it or text it?
  6. Would you rather one long night together, or three short ones this week?

Never Have I Ever, for couples

Same rule as always: if you've done it, put a finger down (or take a sip). This version is about the two of you, not the party.

About us

  1. Never have I ever forgotten something important you told me.
  2. Never have I ever been jealous of how you looked at someone else.
  3. Never have I ever pretended to be fine when I wasn't, just to avoid a conversation.
  4. Never have I ever changed my mind about something big because of you.
  5. Never have I ever gone to bed angry on purpose.

Spicy

  1. Never have I ever thought about you in the middle of a meeting.
  2. Never have I ever planned something just to see your reaction.
  3. Never have I ever wanted to skip our plans and just stay in with you.
  4. Never have I ever kept a compliment about you to myself when I should've said it out loud.
  5. Never have I ever done something just because I knew you'd like it.
